Rob Ford wins his ward in Etobicoke with majorities of up to 80% because his constituents know him and know how hard he works for the people he serves. Rob Ford's brother Doug is running for city council and he is also serving as Rob's mayoral campaign manager.

And what about Ford's main rival in the mayoral contest, George Smitherman?

Arthur Smitherman, George's brother is, like Doug Ford, also running for city council. That's not all Arthur Smitherman and Doug Ford have in common. Like Doug Ford, George Smitherman's brother Arthur is also backing Rob Ford.

“I’ve got nothing against my brother,” Arthur said in an interview Wednesday..“The only reason I’m supporting Rob Ford is his policies. I think they’re right for Toronto.”

In fairness to George, Arthur sounds a few McNuggets short of a Happy Meal on other issues, like global conspiracy theories, but still, his own brother?
