A British university is to use US cartoon The Simpsons to teach students philosophy in a new course.
Glasgow University will examine the wisdom of Homer Simpson and his family alongside the words of great thinkers such as Aristotle, Socrates and Voltaire.
The short course, entitled D'oh! The Simpsons Introduce Philosophy, has attracted a huge amount of interest and is expected to be massively oversubscribed...
